Past
is past
We have heard many times people telling, “We need to
hold on to our rich tradition.”
We
may hear these words from all walks of life. This is a claim that the past is
something sacred and we miss the sacredness if we go for a change. But tradition
is dynamic and is not static. It is ever evolving. There is no possibility of development
if we continue to hold on to this view. There is no need to glorify the past. Past
is past and it has given way to something new. In the world of technological
development people make a fuss over the changes happened in our lives, particularly
in the human relationships. There is no need to feel sad. The present moment
also has something to give us. We are not limited to mere animals jumping from
one tree to another. We had such a past.
